Retailer Requirements
At CBG – Canadian Bicycle Group, our goal is to help build a stronger and more sustainable future for the cycling industry by supporting dedicated bicycle retailers and growing brands through long-term partnerships.
To ensure we continue supporting the bicycle community and our dealer network, CBG works exclusively with qualified bicycle businesses. All dealer applicants must meet our retailer eligibility requirements and may be asked to provide documentation confirming their business operations.
Requirements include:
- Verification of an active bicycle retail business, service shop, mobile service provider, or approved cycling-related business
- Photos of your storefront, showroom, service area, warehouse, or business operations
- Valid business registration and applicable tax/resale information
- Proof of commercial insurance when required
- Business website, social media presence, or additional information to help verify your application
Following submission, our dealer support team will review your application and contact you if additional information is required.

Bicycle Retailer
Must operate out of a brick-and-mortar retail location that allows your business to support customers face-to-face during regular posted business hours year-round.
The primary focus of the business must be bicycle sales, service, and repair.
Must be clearly identifiable as a professional bicycle retailer with properly merchandised bicycles, components, and accessories available for purchase; a dedicated bicycle service area with appropriate tools and equipment; and visible storefront signage representing the business.
