Quantum Axles are made from hard anodized 7075-T6 aluminum for strength and durability. These axles are designed for use with Quantum rear hubs only and are not compatible with other manufacturers' hubs. The 157mm version works best with traditional Chromoly and aluminum frames, while the 171mm version is designed for carbon frames.
