All Box One and Box Two cranksets are engineered and crafted around Box’s Oversized Technology™ platform with a strong focus on maximizing pedaling stiffness and power delivery. There is little value in pushing harder on the pedals if that power cannot efficiently transfer to the rear wheel.
To minimize lateral deflection at the bottom bracket, Box enlarged both the spindle diameter and crank arm interfaces. Material was strategically removed from low-stress areas and reinforced in critical high-load zones to create a crankset that is both lightweight and exceptionally stiff. The result is more efficient power transfer, faster acceleration response, and reduced energy loss under heavy sprint efforts.
The Box Two M30-P crankset is a slightly more accessible version of the oversized technology found in the Box One M35 system. At the center is a premium Praxis™ manufactured 30mm spindle cold-forged from 7075-T6 aluminum and precision-ground for maximum accuracy and performance. Unlike the M35 platform, the M30-P is designed to fit standard European threaded bottom bracket systems while still delivering substantial stiffness benefits.
The crank arms and spider are derived directly from the Box One M35 design, featuring hollow-forged construction optimized to reinforce high-stress zones while minimizing unnecessary weight. The Box Two M30-P crankset is specifically engineered for larger and more powerful BMX racers seeking increased stiffness and power transfer.
