The 22.2 Titanium Low-X Handlebars are engineered for elite-level BMX racing, delivering an exceptional balance of lightweight construction, steering precision, strength, durability, and rider clearance. Available in multiple rise options from 5.5” to 8”, the Low-X platform is designed to suit a wide range of rider sizes and aggressive race setups.

Constructed from premium 3AL-2.5V titanium, the bars are extruded and mandrel formed to optimize strength, consistency, and ride feel while maintaining an impressively low overall weight. At just 540g for the 7” version, they provide a lightweight and highly responsive front-end feel without sacrificing the durability and fatigue resistance titanium is known for.

The Low-X design incorporates a lower-positioned crossbar specifically to provide increased rider and helmet clearance. Modern BMX tracks feature increasingly deep transitions, steep backsides, and high-speed rollers where riders aggressively compress and pump the bike. In these situations, the rider’s upper body can move extremely close to the handlebars. The lower crossbar creates additional open space above the bar, reducing the chance of helmet-to-crossbar contact while allowing the rider to stay low and aggressive through deep features at full race speed.

This added clearance is particularly beneficial for riders with an aggressive pumping technique or those who prefer a lower body position over the front of the bike. Rather than maximizing crossbar height for additional stiffness like our High-X model, the Low-X prioritizes clearance and freedom of movement while maintaining the strength and responsive handling required for BMX racing.

Titanium also provides a natural ride characteristic with excellent vibration damping and long-term durability. The Low-X geometry combines these desirable titanium ride qualities with a race-focused design that gives riders more room to move dynamically over the bike.

Available under both the Dangerboy and Dangergirl brands, these titanium bars are positioned at approximately 30% lower pricing than many competing titanium handlebars currently on the market.
