The Tangent Split Front Load Stem was developed with one goal in mind: reducing cockpit stack height while maintaining maximum stiffness and precision steering control for elite BMX racing. The project originally began after Olympic medalist Sam Willoughby approached Tangent about developing a lower-profile front load stem based on the proven Split stem platform.
After extensive development, testing, and real-world race validation by some of the world’s top riders including Sylvain Andre, Lauren Reynolds, Breanna Winter, and Chris Felker, the Tangent Split Front Load Stem is now available for riders demanding pro-level performance and fit options.
